A Beautiful Mind

After watching this movie, today 2 p.m. I start think that it's needed, when I first meet someone (who call me first) and then I greet him/her back, while I'm shaking his/her hand I should ask him/her, "Are you real? I mean, real human or only in my mind? Lol."

Yap, so far, I've learned such of important things about "studying, learning, being sociable, life (which sometimes regulated by --- choose one, between mind or heart)". Become a mathematician is maybe Prof. Nash's passion, it shown by activities shown in this movie, how does he spend his time? By study every time, everywhere, and never stop to think..., ~~also make imagination.~~ He finally found his [now : popular] theory which is known as Nash Equilibrium (fyi : I've studied about this in intro to micro-econ lecture this 1st semester lalala~ (: ), then got achievements, honors, Nobel price in economics, because of his hardworks. He finally respected by the world [also helps economist by his theory] , all is because of how much did he invest his time to study and learn. He didn't despair, although he is depressed. I like to underline his statement "I don't believe in luck. I believe in assigning value on it", yeah..all of us should not believe in luck, if we do nothing for making our progress better [even for a miracle, you must pray all day long and have unbroken faith --- absolutely have no doubt about God's love].

Sometimes, I realize, I've been liked to stand apart from others. I thought it's good if I stayed alone because I felt that it's really hard to have a conversation with others, I thought it's better to keep in silence rather than try to have a conversation and looks stupid then, I thought like I can do everything without dealing with others. Maybe, eventually, my last concept is going wrong, then this statement : "Being sociable is very important --- more important than just prevent you from schizophrenia" is going true, or vice versa (em, ceteris paribus!)

One more, stop to think (a single time you're stuck on your mind) and rely completely in God may sound like an idiot. But this is definitely to remind you that you are limited. You are God's creation that can not live a life if you rely solely your logic.

Hundred, days I have passed here. Then..has it become my pride. Not yet, it becomes my compunction. It must be a full of contemplation day. God Jesus, which one is my biggest fault before I start those days, what do turn harm to cold? God Jesus, help me to reset my self, mind, and heart. Please, forgive me. Please, reset me…

For : count on You to write whole journeys, based on You to take decisions while I face trade-off, only to praise You not for having a pride of life.

God Jesus, thanks so much, finally I got the answer that spirit and flesh will never coexist. They are kind a scale. They will never reach sync. God, please watch my days, that after today, I will always feel better joy everyday. Because You always give me hundred of joy, it depends on me how much I wanna take from You. Merci God Jesus

The Real Joy - the next 2 weeks

Last Sunday, (18 November 2012) I started my service in Tiberias Church Bandung as usher, fyi I really want [with a vengeance, whole-hearted, haha] to be a choir actually, but finally here, I choose to be a singer. And I will start my service as singer next week

Thanks to God Jesus, these days I feel so lonely and maybe homesick..but today God Jesus solace me. I don’t know how He makes me really happy today, I just suddenly feel joy and deep peace, I can refresh my mind, ah bunch of thanks my God

I guess, it might because God Jesus remind me that, in a week, I will face new month, December (which I really love and always wait for every year). And also, for the next 2 weeks I and my family will attend Tiberias Church Christmas Celebration at GBK, Jakarta, especially I will join the 5.000 choir =)

I’m so excited to glorify and exalt You, Lord. The best 8 of 2012. Can’t wait for this!!

“Dulu, aku bercita-cita menjadi seorang…?”

Dulu, waktu kecil, kalau ada orang nanya, “Cita-citanya apa, dek?“, saya pasti tanpa ragu menjawab, “Jadi dokter “. Waktu itu saya juga selalu merasa cukup bangga karena saya sudah punya cita-cita yang tetap dibanding dengan anak-anak seusia saya yang rata-rata punya banyak cita-cita atau yang cita-citanya berganti-ganti (saya selalu mbatin ‘lah ini anak gimana sih, ngga berpendirian banget’, ya isitilahnya orang sekarang ababil). Dulu saya (dan mungkin cukup banyak orang sampai sekarang) beranggapan bahwa cita-cita adalah akan menjadi apa kita nanti, yang sering diinterpretasikan sebagai apa profesi kita saat dewasa. Maka tidak mengherankan umumnya anak-anak kecil menjawab cita-citanya adalah menjadi… (isi dengan : profesi yang diminatinya), yah..yang paling laku sih dokter dan pilot. *sampai sekarang aja banyak iklan yang menampilkan 2 profesi itu kan sebagai cita-cita, snmptn juga banyak yang milih dokter kok, haha =p *

Nah, kalau sekarang yang saya amati, orang-orang seusia saya (baca : +/- = 18 tahun) menerjemahkan cita-cita sebagai dreams dalam bahasa Inggris. Dan banyak banget yang saya temukan, dreams = travel around the world. Tidak jauh berbeda dengan saya, karena salah satu dari dreams saya saat ini adalah ingin keliling Indonesia dulu baru keliling dunia. Kenapa begitu? Karena sejak nonton acara televisi Ring of Fire, yang dulu rutin ditayangkan oleh Metro TV setiap Minggu malam (bukan malam Minggu yaaa), yang terbersit dalam benak saya ‘aduuhh Indonesia keren banget, sayang ya, kenapa ngga ada program keliling Indonesia untuk pelajar, pemerintah malah lebih rela pelajar dan mahasiswa terbaiknya dipinjem untuk ikut pertukaran pelajar dan mahasiswa ke luar negeri (sampai menunda pendidikannya di dalam negeri), ketimbang bikin program keliling Indonesia supaya pelajar dan mahasiswanya bisa ngeliat dan ngerasain langsung apa itu Indonesia dan whole of amazing things di dalamnya. Padahal biaya investasinya kan kurang lebih sama dengan ngirim duta ke luar negeri?’

Sekarang, lebih tepatnya sejak 2 hari yang lalu saya mulai mempunyai feel penuh “gue mahasiswi fakultas ekonomi, jurusan esp nih”. Saya rasa, saya mulai menemukan cita-cita yang menjadi ~~tujuan atau~~ lebih tepatnya perjalanan (journey) hidup saya selanjutnya. Saya ingin meramu setiap langkah yang harus saya jalani 3,5 tahun ke depan. Membuat target-target dan memenuhinya.

My 50th Day

Yesterday, (October 22, 2012) was my 50th day living here. Finally, I make a choice, take a decision, for my future..(if that’s too excessive, then let say : for my next steps in this journey). Everything I will through, those all are about my ‘new’ days, ‘new’ philosophy of life. Everything for CHANGES in mind-set goals, actually not entire mind-set or inside. Because inside is passion, which will be our spirit and pattern of doing something.

About Mauris de Journey, exactly I have used this name for 2 others weblog, I terribly love this name and below I insert my first posting on my first blog, about what does Mauris de Journey mean in my own language :

Start blogging Mauris de Journey = Perjalanan penuh dengan sandi. That’s my code, bahasa ngaco tapi bagus juga dibacanya. Mauris dari Bahasa Latin, artinya sandi. Journey sendiri artinya perjalanan. Sedangkan ‘de’ berguna sebagai ‘to be’ dalam bahasa Belanda atau Jerman dan seinget gue ada beberapa negara di Eropa lagi yang menggunakan ‘de’ tadi sebagai ‘to be’.

Jadi gue mencampur-adukan potongan kata-kata tadi menjadi judul blog gue, karena gue adalah orang yang bisa dibilang ga banyak omong, tapi sangat curious, mungkin tergila-gila juga dengan misteri.

About Ephesians 3:20, that I’m looking for its meaning along this time. I have got that word from Kak Josep Franklin Sihite, at the time I failed to participate on YES 2011-2012. August 6, 2011 must be my departure time, but sadly, I must stop my journey only up to Visa Camp on June 2011. That word (Ephesians 3:20) also becomes my base to choose what major I will go into.

After I passed (read:failed) on 4 kinds of choices in 2 selections program for undergraduate, I finally accepted on 5th choice, Faculty of Economics and Business, Major Economics and Development Studies, Padjadjaran University. On July to August 2012, I follow the campus orientation program, P5, and I really realize, that I found my self very enthuse. But, after I follow some lectures, moreover, after my 18th birthday, I got sick and hospitalized for 2 weeks, I found my self got stuck, loss its spirit to study.

“I could not catch my self here…”

I felt very disorganized for almost single week, until I realized (accidentally) I was on My 50th Day in Bandung which is yesterday. And at the evening yesterday, in my words to God Jesus, I promise that I will do my best to be an economist (if that’s really His want) and I also fight to be the best in my study for my family. Untuk Papa, Mama, dan Adikku.

I always believe that God Jesus will give me strength and capability to be ‘the one He wants’. I do my best and God Jesus will do the rest. And now, with God Jesus, I’m ready to dare to make my dreams come true!
